Dunkin' Donuts pulls Rachael Ray ad that supports terrorism?

This is probably the dumbest story I've read in the past month or so.

Dunkin' Donuts has pulled a television ad featuring the always-smiling Rachael Ray in a fringed black-and-white scarf because of "the possibility of mis-perception detracted from its original intention to promote our iced coffee."

What was the controversy about? Conservative journalist Michelle Malkin -- who happens to be a complete idiot -- saw the ad and complained that it look like a kaffiyeh, a traditional Muslim headdress that has apparently come to symbolize Islamic extremism and terrorism.

Here's the thing: if you see Rachael Ray wearing a scarf and start worrying about Al Qaeda then maybe, just maybe, you need to step away from the Fox News Channel, take a Valium smoothie for your paranoia and watch some light-hearted feel-good television -- like the Rachael Ray Show!

If you're Michelle Malkin, you need to get a life. Of course now that Teletubbie-hater Jerry Falwell has passed away, I suppose that we need some inane clown to see perverse symbolism in the most inoffensive images.
