I've saved the best till last... and I'm loving it, one day at a time..! I lived in the Midwest, most of my life, tasted short stints of living in places like California (West Coast) and Florida, (South Gulf Coast) but I finally found my peace in the hills along the Smokey Mountains of North Georgia. Just a days drive by car to see my place of birth, and the suburbs of Chicago, for Spring/Summer/Fall fun, and then I'm equally close to the Gulf Shores of Florida, and enjoying the friendly people of the South, (and Southern Hospitality is a welcome refreshing switch) from the hustle bustle people of the Midwest cities, or the Clanish uneasyness of the plains.....rumor has it there! I love Lookout Mountain, Ga./Tn. and the smaller city of Chattanooga is no longer just a place I pass by on my way between Chicago and Tampa, it's a place I took the time to finally check out, and fall in love with, it's people, it's rich Southern heritage, and it's unsurpassed beauty, and by the way, I had already lived along the foothills of the Rockies in Colorado for half my life, so trust I know beauty when I see ********** not that crowded nor competitive... it's just the sweet South, and I'm falling in love all over again.... !
