Free online coupons

Filed under: Fantastic Freebies, Bargain Babe

Coupons.comOne of my favorite places to get coupons -- aside from clipping them from the Sunday newspaper -- is Coupons.com.

The site usually has 80-200 coupons that you can electronically "clip" and print out.

Right now there is a coupon for 50 cents off Challenge butter, $1 off Special K cereal, and $2 off Nivea body wash. Print these, wait until the items go on sale, and boom, you'll pay a fraction of the original retail price.

You can also add coupons directly to your grocery store loyalty card from the site's "savings card" tab. Then you don't have to use paper or printer ink to get the coupon.

Coupons.com allows each coupon to be printed a limited number of times, so don't delay if you see a good coupon. The upside to this is that the selection of coupons is constantly being refreshed. You can opt to receive a weekly e-mail reminding you when there are new coupons.

$3 in free MP3's from Amazon

How's this for a pre-Black Friday deal? Get $3 to buy MP3 downloads from Amazon -- which means you could get three or more free songs. Rad!

Expires Monday, Nov. 30 at 11:59 PM PST.

You can use the free $3 credit toward one album or multiple songs, as long as you use it before Nov. 30. Top-selling singles are $1.29, others cost less.

Amazon has more than 500 albums for just $5, including Kelly Clarkson's "All I Ever Wanted," Johnny Cash's "The Best of the Sun Years," and the Beastie Boy's "Paul's Boutique." With the discount, that means an entire album is just $2!

Caveats: one per customer. Good for U.S. customers only. You must have an Amazon account to get the deal.

Free desk calender from Snapfish

Filed under: Fantastic Freebies, Bargain Babe

Get a free desk calender from Snapfish when you register on its Web site, which requires sharing an e-mail and your name.

This only works for new customers who have not previously registered on the site. The offer expires Wednesday Nov. 25.

Sign up here. If that link doesn't work, try this one.

The calender normally sells for $15. You get to choose from one of 18 designs, you can add your own photos for each month and start your calender on any month (not just January). Great for yourself or as a holiday gift!

If you don't have any high quality pictures, check Flickr for calender-worthy pics. It's easy to put together a calender around a theme related to a hobby or interest, like fuzzy animals, yoga, nature, etc.

Time for Friday Freebies - my top five free things I've come across this week!

Snag a free issue of Get Married magazine, a new monthly for savvy brides. Expect tips on wedding trends, planning tools, and giveaways.

Get 50 free photos when you join CVS Photo, which is separate from its normal retail site. Signing up requires you to share your name, email and create a password for the site.

Black Friday freebie! Pick up a free reusable tote bag at Target starting a 4 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009. Each store will only have 500 bags so they will run out quickly. You can also get a $10 gift card if you spend $100 or more on Black Friday, the mega shopping day that follows Thanksgiving and marks the traditional start of the holiday shopping season.

Download a free 24-page road trip activity booklet from RadRoadTrips.com to keep the kids entertained while you drive to Thanksgiving. Especially useful if your minivan does not have a DVD player the kids can zone out in front of.

Lastly, head over to Nordstrom and get a free sample of Lancome's Absolue Precious Cells SPF 15, courtesy of Vogue. Yes, please!

3 for $30 at Body Shop - 3 hours only, today, November 20

From 3-6 p.m. local time today, Nov. 20 only, get any three items at the Body Shop for $30. The whole store is up for grabs, except for prepackaged gifts and gift cards. A LOT of make up, lotions, and creams are more than $10 at The Body Shop, so this is a pretty amazing deal.

Here are some of the biggest savings:
  • Wise woman regenerating night cream, $32
  • Moroccan rose body butter, $20
  • Japanese cherry blossom eau de toilette, $25
  • White floral candle garden, $24
  • Nature's minerals foundation, $25
  • Eye lip and cheek palate, $30
I can't believe how much of a discount the store is offering and I'm kicking myself for jumping on their free shipping offer earlier this week. I could have saved a lot of money if I had waited!

Caveats: If you buy something that is less than $10, the original price remains. You can buy multiple groups of three items to maximize your savings. Cannot be combined with other discounts, other than the Love Your Body membership discount. Valid at participating stores only. Not good online. U.S. only.

Kodak 20% off coupon

Get 20% off almost everything at Kodak.com during their family and friends sale.

Use code HOLIDAYS2009, which expires on Sunday, Nov. 22. The coupon is case sensitive so make sure you use capital letters. The discount will automatically be applied at checkout.

Kodak sells a lot more than cameras, like digital picture frames, video cameras, and printers. They also have a trade-in program if you are thinking about upgrading your equipment.

Caveats: the discount does not apply to disposable cameras, the KODAK OLED Wireless Frame, clearance, refurbished products, shipping, handling, or tax. Cannot be combined with other discounts.

Thanks, Josh!

Restaurant.com 70% off

Get discounted certificates to your favorite restaurants -- or give them as gifts -- through Restaurant.com. The online site usually sells a $25 certificate for $10, but with this 70% off code a $25 cert is just $3. Yowza!

Use code GIVE, good through Nov. 22. Buy em now!

Caveats: each restaurant sets their own redemption rules and may require that the certificate be used on certain days or times. Also, the certs almost always exclude alcohol and have a minimum food tab required. Doesn't mean they aren't a good deal, you just have to find ones that work for you.
