Holidays are the time to gobble up homes
Thanksgiving typically launches the beginning of turkey season -- in real estate. Who wants to buy and sell during the holidays -- or so conventional wisdom goes. Well, bring on the stuffing, decorations and escrow, because this is the season for buying and selling, experts say. Why? Let me count the ways (with help from Whittier, Calif.-based agent Jim Joseph):
- Home buyers are serious at this time of year. If they're not cooking, gift shopping, traveling or party planning, they actually may want to buy your home.
- Buyers transferring from one city to another often grab holiday vacation days to check out potential new digs. So if that CEO from Boston knocks on your San Francisco door, she's not kidding. The family needs to move. Fast.
- Lenders are less slammed than usual during the holidays, so loans can be processed more swiftly.
- Homes never look better than the period between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. And they smell like gingerbread, too!
- Some sellers take their homes off the market at holiday time, so if your home is on the market, you have less competition.
- Some investors want to close real estate deals by year's end for tax purposes, so are highly motivated to lock up a deal by Dec. 31.

Straight out of the nightmare I wrote about. This guy is a real
con-man now going after your tax dollars. Why am I surprised?
CitiBank is the best you can do?
This comment consist of our government bailout program
for foreclosure assistance, our judicial system, and the
surprising laws in Louisiana regarding property and divorce.
My nightmare.....I met this jerk online on one of the dating
websites; hense before you push send,
I am not sure but I really don't think
this is what our government meant by
a financial crisis or bailout for those
facing foreclosure. He's such pond scum
what else is a person to do.
Before you push the send button on your computer, WARNING!!
You may be corresponding with a Serial Bully. If I can save one person from the nightmare I have been and continue to live, I will call it a successful mission.
I hope this is not what our government had in mind when they decided to help those people fend off foreclosure. I feel like up chucking with this one. And it just goes on and on and nobody cares. I am appalled.
From my website; Everyday Sociopath and an article regarding
Sociopathic Divorce, this is I hate to say, another chapter. Surely this man will not get relief from the mortgage while holding assets. If he gets this government bailout, I was informed I will be on the hook for the mortgage forever. You see, they do not make him refinance and of course
that is the only way my name is removed! NO Way Out.
What does a Bully and a Sociopath Have In Common?
My site is dedicated to those who unknowingly become involved with one who has anti-social behavior disorders or commonly called a sociopath. These men and women cruise the internet and social networks just looking for someone to take advantage of. My serial bully resembles something like the bunny on television advertising those batteries. He just keeps on coming and coming.
The term Roll-over has come to have a completely new meaning to me. During the last year, I have not only Rolled-over, I have paid to do so. Paid attorney’s to the tune of over $10,000. Yet, our Justice System is structured such that he can continue to drag out our legal battle.
Take note people, as my book says, this new con or bully’s game will drive you nuts.
Here are the facts today. After one year of trying just to get this loon to go away, rolling over and over, he continues to insist on the following settlement.
Fact: Together we purchased a single property home in the state of Louisiana. He placed my small 401K into the down payment of the property along with other hard earned fruits of my labor. Moving me miles and miles away into another state gave him the advantage in our game of who’s up, who’s down.
Additionally, he proceeded to move a clear home equity line of credit into his bank account.
Now the Louisiana stud, aka, Professional Divorce Planner, knew by being in the great southern state of Louisiana he would indeed gain the upper hand. As I have told my sorrowful tale to all who would listen, looking in all the right and wrong places for help, it is with sadness I say today, sociopathic divorce is hell.
This stud and professional rip-off artist knows the law better than most divorce attorneys.
Try as I might, I can neither get ahead of him legally nor away from him morally. Of course men/women like this sociopath have no remorse or sorrow, nor conscience. Therefore, reason does not exist when dealing with this anti-social behavior. Thinking like a bully takes a bully. Unlike him I have tried the legal way but bullies take the long way around the court room or really just the justice system.
If you have money it is possible to twist and turn forever, in Louisiana anyway. So here he sits with money in the bank, some hidden, some under other peoples names, some under other peoples social security numbers. He holds a check made payable to both of us since, January of 2009. Yet, he will not give me my half and therefore I expressed the williness to help him fly away and land on someone else’s rooftop, and spread his bird poop; give him the money. But no, thats not enough. He has decided he wants my 1/2 of the home, my 1/2 of the free and clear home equity loan he took, and all his assets in any IRA, 401K, or Pension plan he currently holds. I said okay. Give it all to him. Then out of the blue that was not enough….To my surprise, the bully wants not just to take me for a ride, but also our government and your tax dollars. He decided to let the home go into foreclosure and then after several months he would file for our new mortgage assistance program.
Now, lets get this straight. He holds $8,400 since Jan. 09. The total monthly mortgage payment was only $1100. Yet, he decided not to make a payment, starting in June so he would qualify for the assistance program. He applied October, 09 and as of now, he pays Nov. 1, 2009, $700 and change. This con man holds somewhere in the neighborhood of $400 – to $500,000 in various positions and assets.
I called the bank, guess what, surprise, yes my name is on all the documents and I am responsible for all the loan but I have NO say regarding what he is doing. Why? I was actually told, each state does things differently. Okay. So here is a man, who is more than capable of paying his mortgage, but doesn’t. So our government is going to BAIL him out of what he calls his financial crisis. He has two companies that I know about, and works under many alias, as well he receives pension money monthly enough to pay the mortgage.
Fact: The property is worth $285,000 and we owe $199,000. So actually I was glad to see the foreclosure because at least I would not be held responsible forever, it would now be over. If he gains the government subsidy program, I will be held responsible for anotherfive (5) years. Meanwhile, he will be able to sell the home and make at least $50,000 and with
the $35,000 he’s holding in his box in the bank in cash, well, he did not lose anything.
Heck of way to gain money. Would you have been able to think this one up? Not me.
I ask for Fairness in our Judicial System. I was told “you can not get fairness from someone who lacks reason and/or empathy. These individuals have no sense of fair play nor do they
respect the law.
So if your on a website checking out the personals looking for the love of your life and hoping to find someone who will love and protect you and take care of you until he or you die, good luck.
Be careful and think about this before you push SEND!
Not only is this guy taken advantage of me but he’s also taken advantage of our system.
Are these the type of individuals who will gain by the Great American Bailout?
I pray, plead, beg, and pay for help. I know I’m not the only one in this position, these sad stories
are all over the internet. Whats wrong with our Judicial System that the sense of fairplay and justice has been removed?
