Black Friday deals on panties, phones and pet supplies
Filed under: Shopping, Technology, Black Friday
Black Friday is only a few days away, and in addition to the numerous pre-sales and Thanksgiving Day discounts going on, many smaller or niche stores are sharing their Black Friday deals with us; before they hit your Wednesday newspaper. Of note today are deals from Bare Necessities, Victoria's Secret, T-Mobile, Amazon, and Pet Supplies Plus.
Lingerie:
Bare Necessities is currently running pre-Black Friday deals including, bra sales on Tuesday and steals starting at $9.99 on Wednesday. On Black Friday you'll be able to find discounts on Nautica flannel drawstring pants, slips, bras and panties starting at just $9.
Victoria's Secret is also having a Black Friday blowout with a free runway, filled with "3 beauty must haves," with a $60 purchase. The famous lingerie company is also sending out emails to subscribers for $10 off $50, $15 off $75 and $25 off a $100 purchase available through November 30.
Phones:
T-Mobile also announced its Black Friday deals, and while you may not want to wait out in the cold for them, you can save an additional $50 on the Motorola CLIQ with MOTOBLUR ($149.99), BlackBerry Bold 9700 with Wi-Fi Calling ($149.99) and the Samsung Highlight ($49.99). If you couple these savings with the new low cost "Even More Plus" plans you can save money the entire year.
Amazon.com is another retailer that routinely offers great deals on cell phones and Black Friday isn't any different. The online shopping giant is selling three AT&T phones for just a penny and a two year contract. Since Amazon is offering up Black Friday deals all week you can purchase the BlackBerry Curve 8900 , the HTC Pure Windows Phone or the LG Xenon GR500 right now at the Black Friday price.
Pet Supplies:
With the news coming in that spouses will spend less on each other this holiday season, man's best friend might be a little bit worried, but thankfully only 14% of shoppers said they will cut back on Fido's gift this year.
PetSmart shared the following Black Friday pet deals with WalletPop via email:

Please boycott all Chinese products like this until they stop exporting cat and dog fur to Canada and end their practice of beating hundreds of thousands of dogs to death with baseball bats because they are too cheap to institute a free rabies shot program.

There is a New small grooming salon in south city. The owner is a former employee of Petsmart .
Petsmart is suing the owner of this very small grooming salon to close its doors, not be able to work in his profession of 26 years. They think a small grooming salon with 2 employees, no retail , no funding for advertisement except word of mouth and the sign on the windows, is competition and causing them to possibly loose their shop, a way to make an honest living and the chance to own a small business and serve the local residents a place to take their dogs for personalized attention. Do everyone a favor boycott Petsmart and show your support for the small business owner , the support shows you care for the small business owner.

I am sure the person signed a contract saying they would'nt work or open a grooming shop with-in a certain area from them.
If this is the case sorry to say they don't have a leg to stand on.

That is most likely not the reason they are sueing. Former employees sign a paper saying they will not leave and open their own salon for a certain amount of time. I know this because I too am a former employee and remember reading what I was signing. I really dont see what your comment has to do with the subject though... Got me... Anyway turkey day is coming yum yum then its out to shop for a bit.

I went to bed early last night, about 12 midnite I woke up and there was around 6 china guy's by my bed and they grab me and held me down while one pulled down my under wear and preceded to cut my pecker off, I was screaming all the time but before they left
one said your pecker is going to a good cause, what it was they never told me, they said they have to get back to china.
Then they took off.
now I going to have to go to china and steal someone else's pecker and bring it back to the state's.

To someone in charge at AOL: Your Black Friday specials introduction today said that there were going to be deals at Pet Supplies Plus ... but the article listed Black Friday specials at PetSmart. They are two completely different retailers. Which one is actually running those specials?

I would not recommend buying "one" product from PETSMART as I rescued a black lab & took it to a Vet who was trying to find a home for it but was unable to & was getting ready to euthanize it on 11-20-2009 so my wife & I made up a flier & I took it to PETSMART in Warner Robins, Georgia & they "REFUSED TO LET ME PUT IT UP IN THE ENTRACE BULLETION BOARD". Do I need to say anything else about a company that "PANDERS" to the public to buy their pet supplies & really could care less about a SWEET DOG BEING PUT TO SLEEP.

PetSmart's non-profit has adopted 4 million pets since its inception in the mid-90s and is the largest pet non-profit in the country, so I think it's fair to say that it cares deeply about saving the lives of pets.

Why do people use the words "put to sleep" with the killing of innocent animals. The correct words would be "put to death". People try to make it look pretty and sound nice. Death is forever and no "nice" words will change the outcome.

Actually the correct term is to euthanize and unfortunately it is a necessary practice. I do not believe in putting an animal down for no reason, but if an animal is unable to be placed in a home where it will be cared for and loved, I feel it is even more cruel to keep it alive in a cage for months or years.

Oh, gee, Black Friday is here again. Hopefully the greedy vulture shoppers won't trample another employee to death like they did last year.
