Black Friday: Target offers $3 appliances and gift card bonuses
Filed under: Bargains, Shopping, Black Friday
Target's Black Friday ad has leaked, and there's definitely a reason that its ad is one of the most anticipated each year. This year there are several great door-buster deals, including $3 kitchen appliances and some of the closest prices to our Black Friday predictions we've seen so far. Even though HDTV's, toys and computers are some of the biggest Black Friday draws, Target is making a bid to take over the kitchens of frugal shoppers with a selection of $3 kitchen appliances from Chefmate. The rumored $3 appliances include a 12-cup coffeemaker, sandwich maker, toaster and slow cooker.

- $97 Tom Tom GPS ($40 off lowest online price as of Nov. 11)
- $449 40" 1080P Apex HDTV and $246 30" Westinghouse 720P HDTV
- $69 1 TB Western Digital external hard drive
- $10 toys and board games
- Numerous discounts on clothing, including 50% off select sweaters, scarves and vests
Will you be heading to Target for cheap kitchen appliances and gift card bonuses on Black Friday?

I have seen 32" LCD TV's at Best Buy for under $320. If you can't afford that, they have a one year interest free payment plan that will allow you to pay about $30/month (with taxes) for a year while you enjoy your new TV.

Get out and exercise, you don't need a HDTV! How's that for a recommendation?

Maribel,
Black Friday offers the best deals as items are marked way below normal. That 30" TV for $246 is the best price you're gonna find. I purchased a 36 inch off season for nearly $1,000. So get up early, wear comfortable clothing and get out there and get your TV.

I love shopping on black friday. It's so much fun, you get a rush of being in a crowd. Also, watching housewives fighting over the hottest toys for their kids can be priceless. I got my laptop for a great price on black friday.
It's better to start at midnight at hte sales that start then, because then you can hit more shops. I hear Wal-Mart has a flat screen TV on sale for black friday(:

I don't have an HDTV because I don't think I need one to replace the one I have. Nothing is wrong with the ones we have.

I would bet that 85% of the people that shop on any day are buying things that they could easily live without. Don't be brainwashed into spending money on things that you don't need or buying gifts for people that don't need what you buy. Donate your money to St. Judes or some worthy charity and everyone will be better off.

Wake up early, bring coffee, bring a good attitude, go shopping with someone else who can stand in line while you shop, be tempted with unadvertised deals, you can always take them back.

Maribel,
Your best bet is shop at Sears - they have a Layaway program that is interest free and payable in 8week period. If you find a TV elsewhere for cheaper price, take the Ad to Sears and they will match it then put the item on Layaway.

The Target stores don't even have the TV's yet. So, not sure how you found out how many your closest store has. If they have the TV now, go buy it and get an adjustment the day after Thanksgiving.
They have a two week adjustment period.
