More than just Veteran's Day free meals offered

The list of Veteran's Day freebies extends far past a few free meals. Dozens of museums and national parks are offering free admission to those who have served. And the deals don't stop there!

All national parks, forests, reserves and monuments are free to military families on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The deal is for entrance fees only and is valid at national forests and public recreation lands managed by the Department of Interior's National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation as well as the Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service. In Fairfax, VA, the NRA is sponsoring a free shoot and meal for a limited number of veterans on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 from 6-9 p.m.
