It may not save you much money, but a new tech-support service for people unfamiliar with computers will surely save you frustrating phone conversations with grandma on how to get on the Internet.

For $250 for a year, $25 a month or $50 for a one-time service, a technician from the FloH Club will teach grandma how to Google. Or send e-mail or use Facebook. Or download photos or digital music. Or set up a printer. Or a host of other things that Baby Boomers may not know how to do on their computers.FloH Club is named after and started by Florence Henderson, the mom on the Brady Bunch and onetime pitchwoman for Wesson Oil. Described by the site as "roadside assistance for your computer," FloH Club technicians can either talk to members over the phone about how to solve their problems, or the techs can remotely access your computer and do it for you. They'll even go as far as making online purchases for you or checking online news.

The technically challenged must go to bed very early in Henderson's world. FloH Club assistance is available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern time, which is 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pacific time. So if you join and have questions in the late afternoon or beyond, you'll have to wait until the next morning.

Henderson seems to have entered the Internet Age gracefully. She has a Facebook page. Her FloH blog, however, could use a little work. It has two entries and hasn't been updated in more than a week.

Maybe she needs to call her own techs -- before they call it a day after lunch.
