Five Super Savings: Honey Bunches of Oats, Vaseline lotion, Chex Mix and more ... free!

Welcome to Five Super Savings brought to you by Deal Seeking Mom. Each week I bring you the best grocery and health and beauty bargains around town. I've got some fantastic deals to share this week – everything from free cereal to board games for $0.99! And the best part is they almost all use printable coupons, so you don't have to worry about tracking down newspaper inserts.
1. Walmart has Honey Bunches of Oats cereal on rollback for just $2. Use the $2 off printable coupon, and you can score free cereal! While you're there, you can also pick up 4-packs of White Cloud toilet paper for $0.99 after printable coupon, and there's a new Huggies coupon that can get you more flushable wipes for just $0.67. Also grab some Sara Lee pre-sliced deli meat and use this $3 off printable coupon to get it for only $0.58!
2.Target just released $10.50 in new grocery coupons! Use these to get free Chex Mix. Also find out how I scored a travel size Hungry Hippos game for just $0.99! Shopping at Target can be a little confusing at first, so read up on how to save big by "stacking" coupons.
3. CVS has $1 Colgate toothpaste and more, as well as an opportunity to save big on the new Monsters vs. Aliens DVD. Plus, get $5 off any $25 purchase with these new printable CVS coupons!
4. Hit Walgreens to fill your cart with free Oral-B toothbrushes and Dentek floss picks, as well as free Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion and ChapStick! If you can make it to the store on Wednesday, September 29th, you can also take an additional $5 off a $25 purchase with this coupon. Be sure to check out how you can get a free photo book for becoming a fan of Walgreens on Facebook.
5. Rite Aid has big savings on Synovium Gel, Nivea lip care, and more. If you've had trouble using coupons at Rite Aid in the past, you'll want to print this copy of the corporate coupon policy to carry with you, and you shouldn't have any issues. You'll also want to check out this $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon and the Gift of Savings program to see how you can save even more!
It's the end of the month, so take a moment to check out the coupons on Coupons.com, SmartSource.com, and RedPlum.com. Many of these will no longer be available when the new coupons are added on Oct. 1, so I recommend printing anything that you know you will be purchasing soon. You'll also want to check out the new coupons on the 1st to print any that you don't want to miss out on!

I tried to use the Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal coupon at my local WalMart, and they would not honor the coupon. Were they uninformed or is this coupon just hooey?

Barbara, I'm an hourly supervisor at Wal-Mart., so I can tell you that even if it is a "printable" coupon, the company is beginning to look very closely at computer-generated coupons and refusing to honor them as a result of fraud.

I have also had a problem at some stores with internet coupons not being honored. I don't know how you can force them to honor them.

I also work at wallyworld, and the only way we will not accept an internet coupon is if there is not expiration date on it...just another variation between stores...NOTHING is ever across the board at Walmart when it comes to treating people fairly especially it's employees.....there's a policy in place and one associate can get away with the same infraction time and time again...let another associate try the exact same thing and you're out the door...the old saying "It's not who ya know" certainly applies here...

Walmart simply will not honor their word when it comes to coupons. Seems to me they won't lower their prices either if a competitor has a better deal going on. Right now practically all food stuffs are way over priced. Pretty sad when Safeway stores have better prices then walmart. Believe it or not, if you look in the paper and check around town chances are you will find much better deals elsewhere than good old walmart store. If you don't believe me go check it out for your self and compare prices elsewhere and you'll actually see a huge difference in your food bill by comparison shopping. ENJOY !!

Watch what gets scanned at register not always the same price at Wal-Mart as their shelf prices. The Prices are sometimes cheaper on shelf than what the register rings up.

Kroger's always gives me the same deals Wal-Mart is running every week, like the other day I got a gallon of milk for .79 because Wal-Mart was running a half gallon for the same price. They always tell me that I am getting the Wal-Mart price. I love Kroger's and they do double coupon days and honor all coupons.

I agree with what cashier said. I worked at wallyworld for over 3 years and they do favorite some employees over others. My best friend works at one and said one employee does things and gets away with it, but yet if someone else pulls the same thing, they are fired immediately, then if you file for unemployment you will get denied because they will say it was misconduct.

With all the "cloggers" at those stores it's like 'Cape Fear'. (A "clogger" is a silly redneck dance dancer.) Free the hamsters!

My daughter has been a Wally world associate for over 6 years and believe me, she has been used and abused, lied to and threatened (veiled of course.) Fortunately she will be out of there by January. They hired her at full time , no Sunday mornings because she was a Sunday school teacher and for the first couple of years, it went mostly smooth. Then they changed everything. SHe knows more than the people over her because she had no choice but to learn it but gets no extra pay. Instead, they hire new hires with no experience at higher wages than she makes. This summer, she was demoted to parttime because of her internship schedule even though there was a second shift position available. She lost almost all her benefits. She was hired in one department and in the last 2 years has been forced to work in the adjoining department even if it left her department shorthanded. She's fed up. ANd I don't find things all that cheap at Wally world either.

As a regular customer if I am in a hurry I just grab for the great value brand and assume it is cheaper. NOT ANYMORE. Recently I have started to notice that a lot of items great value is more expensive then the name brand.

Why in the world should Wal Mart give everything away?? I am a cashier at Wal Mart & believe me there is a lot of things people get away with. Thank goodness they are finally cracking down on these things. This being said I agree with the other workers who listed earlier. The employees at Wal Mart are getting the shaft nowadays. There is nothing fair about how management treats their employees.

I WORKED AT WALLY WORLD TOO. THE MANAGEMENT IS VERY RUDE TO THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THEM. THEY NEED TO REMEMBER MR. WALTONS BELIEF IN EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS. THEY ALL NEED TO WATCH THAT FILM WE WATCHED ABOUT MR. WALTON AGAIN. ROLLING OVER IN HIS GRAVE. I WOULD OF LOVE WORKING FOR HIM.
