Has anyone seen Lloyd Virgil Barclay? If so, could you tell him that his wallet has been found?

Police believe the 51-year-old held up a community bank in Bethlehem, Pa, earlier this week, police said. He made off with $800, but he left his wallet on the counter next to the teller.

The bank was KNBT Bank, part of National Penn Bank.

His wallet had two photo IDs, not to mention a social security card and a Philadelphia criminal registration card, so, yes, this guy is making something of a career out of being a criminal. And the authorities say that the photos of Barclay, which he helpfully left behind, resemble the image of the man caught by the security camera.

Part of me doesn't want to make too much fun of Barclay. I have a feeling that leaving my wallet behind or the keys to my getaway car, would be just the sort of thing I'd do if I were to ever take up the occupation of bank robber. After all, I once found my car keys in my refrigerator.

Besides, he probably had a lot on his mind, what with robbing a teller at gunpoint, and making sure the note he put on the counter demanding money was read and understood. In any case, if any of you reading this see Mr. Barclay, please let him know that he can pick up his wallet -- presumably at the police station in Bethlehem, Pa.
