Just because it is free, doesn't mean it is good for you. I went
once when they were giving free ice cream and it was a mad house. Go
pay and get yourself a low fat frozen yogurt instead and take a walk.
You will feel better after and with the calories saved you can have a
glass of fabulous Chardonnay later.

Thanks Brandy. Just making a suggestion. I fight the battle of the bulge every day and it is hard for me. I lost 80 pounds after having twins and find it hard every day. Do I eat ice cream..of course...do I eat too much of it at times...heck yes! If I can avoid at times eating too much, I try too. I know that ice cream is one of my triggers, and I was just saying that if you know that starting with a scoop of ice cream is going to lead to bingeing....there is no amount of free ice cream that is worth that.

I would rather have a decadent piece of cheesecake or a great brownie and enjoy it, instead of dealing with a madhouse for one scoop of ice cream.

And just for the record, I love my treats, I just want to have them when I want them...not just when they are being doled out for free. I am always looking for delicious items that are low calorie with big portions, and I write about them. http://www.flaxchick.com I am so crazy about this stuff, I count the number of items in a 100 calorie bag and write about which ones give the most!

Oh yes ... they are going to give away so much free ice cream in metropolitan Phoenix. The only store is at the "ARIZONA BILTMORE" ... the land of the financially elite, and they are only giving away one scoop per person during the times that most people are at work.

A little heads up from my favorite ice cream company would have been nice. Now, it is 8 pm and I am missing out on a free scoop of coffee ice cream. I have a little one and can't leave!!!
