Republicans' empty budget gets the Sesame Street treatment

Last week, House Republicans held a press conference offering an alternative budget they call: The Republican Road to Recovery. Sadly, it's scant on details and doesn't have a single number when it comes to Republican-proposed spending. It does attack the details in President Obama's proposed budget.

Being an attack dog is easy; proposing solutions is the hard part.

Republicans promise this week they'll provide the details of their alternative budget on the House floor. Until then, here's a funny video that sums up the House Republicans' lame attempt at throwing together a budget. If your typical American family did their budget this way -- vague and incomplete -- we'd be in a much bigger crisis.
