Find the perfect credit card and your estimated credit score with CardHub 2.0
Finding the right credit card is a challenge that stands in the way of good financial decisions for many people. In the past a search would have involved reading enough fine print to make any sane consumer go batty but with the addition of several new tools Cardhub.com has made finding the perfect credit card as easy as updating your Facebook status. The new Card Hub builds on the educational tools that fellow WalletPop blogger Geoff Williams appreciates, adding a Credit Card Advisor and Credit Estimator -- both can help you make more informed choices. WalletPop had early access to these features and have put them both through their paces in order to see how they stack up.
First off we looked at the Credit Estimator which, after six simple questions, provides you with your estimated credit score. At no point in the process do you need to hand over any personal information - not even an email address. Card Hub's Credit Estimator gives a simple Poor to Excellent rating that anyone can understand and provides a FICO rating for each of these categories so you can see where you rank.
Knowing your credit score, even an estimated one, provides you with significantly more leverage when you are making financial decisions. Whether you are deciding which credit card rate is good or taking out a loan, doing so without knowing what score the lender is using to rate you is tantamount to flying blind, at night, in a canyon. Get the point?
Keep reading to find out how Card Hub's Card Advisor finds the perfect card for your financial situation.
Too often we consumers waste our time and money using the wrong credit card for the wrong purpose. Whether we pick a rewards card to carry a balance or continue to make purchases on a 0% balance transfer card we end up losing out because we don't understand the ins and outs of the credit card industry.
This problem was what inspired the Card Hub team to develop the Credit Card Advisor, which leverages the Credit Estimator tool and information about how you plan to use the credit card to find the perfect credit card.
When we tested the Credit Card Advisor for a few common scenarios we consistently found that the card matched the needs we input. When we were looking for a balance transfer card we were recommended a card with a high purchase interest rate but a low balance transfer fee and warned by Card Hub not to make purchases on this card. When we told Card hub's advisor that we would pay the bill in full every month, we were told that a high interest rate card that offered 1.25% back on every purchase would be the best one to add to our Wallet.
From start to finish the Credit Estimator and Credit card Advisor take less than 2 minutes to use and offers significant benefits to consumers of all levels of financial aptitude. Odysseas Papadimitriou, the CEO of Card Hub, took a few minutes to speak with WalletPop about the launch of these new features and expressed his excitement over this new service. He shared that his goal, and that of the entire Card Hub team, is to help consumers avoid needless credit pulls and interest rate disappointments in the search for a credit card that works for them by guiding them to the cards that fit their credit rating and credit needs.
It isn't very often that I come across a website which provides this much value to consumers in such an easy to use suite of tools. By adding these new features to their existing card selector; which lets you choose a card based on many factors including rates, rewards, banks and even the ability to put a picture on it; Card Hub has quickly become the go to site for credit card information.

I'm so tired of getting credit card applications in the mail. Looks like I can start marking them "return to sender." I also like how it helps me pick a card, as opposed to the other sites that list a bunch of cards but then make me go through them. Yeah, like I have that kind of time. Thanks for the tip, Josh!

The site is useless for those outside the US - and doesn't state up front that if you're not American, you're wasting your time.
Also not too good for American expats traveling abroad, because it doesn't disclose exchange fees.

I just checked your claim Cheap Bastard and indeed they need to place a US flag at the top right or something.
However, I clicked on Advanced options on http://www.cardhub.com/credit-cards/ and they do a great job in filtering the cards by 'Foreign Exchange Fees' which is what is so critical for people travelling abroad or expats.
Great Nickname btw.
