Celebrity Foreclosures
DMX's Arizona home is under foreclose as the rapper is in jail on charges of animal cruelty, drug possession, and theft. He paid $600,000 for the house in 2003, which was put on the market by a local bank for $429,000. Police raided the property in August 2008 to find an illegal dog fighting kennel and graveyard of burned and maimed pitbulls. DMX will be sentenced on January 30, 2009.

Seems like she did not follow her own advice.
The trouble seems to stem from Spicer opening up an art and antiques shop in her home town of Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, where she had to put down a substantial investment, but was trying to raise money for charity. Perhaps there's not so much money in selling other people's attic treasures...
Spicer can recover quickly from bankruptcy if she follows some of her own advice. On her list is this key nugget: Get another job. She's a prolific and popular person. While her reputation as a debt expert may be tarnished, she could still take on something like a game show or a news program. She'd be back in financial security in no time.

Hmmm, I can't help but notice that only 12 out of 100 Americans are black, yet more than 1 out of every 2 people going bankrupt is black. Do I see a pattern here?

I wonder if you're like the average republicans I know, ignorant of everything outside your gated community, or today's version of republican, someone just plain ignorant.

What the hell does that have to do with some British TV star? You racists can make race an issue when there is no reason to. Jeez!

Hmmmm...yes, I DO see a pattern. And, for Maestro171: There is no such thing as an "average" Republican. We are ALL extraordinary in every way.

Where did you get that information? Don't make up facts.

I find it quite sad that racists must misportray the truth in order to make themselves feel more important. I find it even sadder that innocent folks read the misinformation and assume that is true.
The IFL published a study, entitled “Who Went Bankrupt in 2006.” Consistent with earlier studies, IFL found that the percentage of white and black debtors roughly mirrors their shares of the general population, hispanic debtors file at a rate less than half of their share of the general population, topping the asians as the least bankruptcy prone ethnicity.

Let me enlighten some of you. There is "ignorance." Usually defined as not knowing something and willing to learn. Then there is "Republican ignorance." This is usually defined as not knowing something, unwilling to learn anything about it, and PROUD of the fact that you're ignorant. I wouldn't go so far as to call a republican stupid, but "ignorance is indeed bliss" for some of them. By the way, republicans aren't "special." Usually, they have to be told what to think, how to think, and parrot the drivel of AM GOP Hate Radio talking heads. Nothing special here

Where is this black person you are referring to? The article is about a white woman in England. As for filing for bankruptcy and racial figures where is this information? I am thinking you are just a prejudiced ignorant person. If you were at all educated you would know that filing for bankruptcy is not a bad thing. The banks, retail stores and fortune 500 companies are doing it. It absolves their debt and they remain rich. You are an idiot!

And another thing--this black white and in between categorizing has to end. You are probably a foreigner who when immigrated became a Republican to be "more" American. Just so you know, the White man won't defend you. But thanks

I do see a pattern, its quite simple... black people are poor and love to live off of us working people.
We need to get them all and ship them (along with our new president) to a far far far away land.
Then we would also get rid of all the crime.
It's a win-win.

This is to tojo...where do you live that only 12 out of 100 Americans are black. You are quite wrong as to that number in any area. Not that it matters to me, I am Native American and White. And the pattern of 1 out of 2 being black, how many are white working families and how many are black working families and how many of any of them are on welfare? I work, the other day when I was working, a group of about 20 black boys/men were standing on the corner hanging around and making all kinds of noise. The point being, when they saw me working, they wanted to come over and ask me for work, MY work. Why not go find YOURSELF a job somewhere else instead of asking me for mine?? And one of them asked me for money to buy himself some liquor, for MY MONEY that I am WORKING FOR to buy HIMSELF some LIQUOR...and you say the average black man is not typical and the American society puts down on him, SHAME on YOU! He puts HIMSELF down. And when I told him I didn't have the three dollars he needed, he asked was I sure...AM I SURE? I AM SURE MY FAMILY HAS TO EAT!!!
And there was about 20 of them and only 1 of me, so thats 20 blacks to 1 white!!!! SO hows that for your number comparison??

no, what I see (as a white woman in the insurance profession) is bad debt options being offered and really pushed on minorities who don't find other options. They pay higher interest rates, and higher rates for other items, based on our societies' use of credit scores in deeming what one pays for a variety of things. So, essentially, those who can afford it least pay the most for less.

Maestro171 is quite right. A lot of right-wing, religio-conservative theocrats are extremely proud of their ignorance, whether they'd like to acknowledge it or not. You see, when someone is told that they are wrong and that they've got the facts wrong, the ideal situation would call for that person to educate themselves and to independently research their assumptions and baseless arguments. Yet, instead, we get, "I'm wrong?! WELL, YOU'RE NUTHIN' BUT A STINKIN' ATHEIST COMMIE, IS WHAT YOU ARE! Obama this, Obama that! Liberal satanists, Christmas hatin' blah blah blah!" That, my despicable friends, is what you are, and that is nothing more than a mob of angry, sometimes secretly racist, sometimes not, religious fanatics whose only goal is to scare and intimidate people. And your wish? That everyone maintains that fear. You really think your "repub" leaders are all religiously fanatical like yourselves? Maybe a few, but most aren't. Most understand that religious fear holds power, and you follow it to the tee. Sounds like you guys have more in common with people who cause terror, the only difference being that most of you would never dare leave the comfort of your lives to do anything about it. You, instead, rely on a collectively willing ignorance, and thus begins state-induced terror. Believe me, if this were Germany and 1933, well, you get the picture.

Your contempt for other human beings who happen to look different from you is very clear. Your post is inaccurate, and based on conjecture and speculation. I should define it as an uneducated biased guess. Your slander is regrettable.
It is so sad that you are a lost soul. You are missing so much beauty. When we die what color will we be?
May Creator of all mankind touch your fallen soul with His love, and enlighten you. Pray for forgiveness because you have a spiritual disease and a deeply wounded spirit. May the Love of the Creator soften you hardened, unrepentant, evil heart and cause you turn to the Sovereign Creator of all human beings of every color, ethnicity, tribe and language in repentance and faith.

(because when you attempt to start a race war over the internet, you have already violated several laws & are subject to the wrath of the FCC & several other Federal depts.
