Bacon bits recalled for Listeria
The Wisconsin firm Patrick Cudahy is recalling 3,500 pounds of bacon bits produced under the label of Applewood Smoked Precooked Bacon Toppings for possible Listeria. You might not have purchased one of the ten pound cases that are affected, but since the shipments went to restaurants and institutions in California, Colorado, Florida, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin. So beware of salad bars and stuffed baked potatoes.

Kind of sad when the first reply on this blog is someone plugging their website. Oh well, I guess spamming is still alive on the Internet. Anyway, if the product was REALLY worth something, they wouldn't have to spam it on some blog site. At least I know one more URL to avoid.
