Clear your clutter

As a student I have a fair amount of clutter in my life. Certain problem sets can leave me with pages and pages of scrap work that I tend to let sit around for a while. Sometimes papers won't leave my desk for a solid two weeks, other times the wind blows them off while I'm working on them. Once the pile gets large enough I have to spend time cleaning it all up and sorting it all out. In any case, I understand the need for, if not the implementation of, organization.

I recently found out about a new product called NEAT Receipts. It's a software-hardware combo for your computer. The item comes with a scanner for your financial documents and software that will interpret them. It works with receipts, business cards, expense reports and more. Then this info can be exported to programs like Excel and Quicken. I was initial skeptical of the product because the website included the words "As Seen on 'The View" but it received a 7.9 out of 10 on CNET so I'm willing to bet it's a decent product. Besides there is a promotion based off of the products TV appearance. Enter 'NEATVIEW' as a coupon code at check out and get $20 off. NEAT Receipts was previously only available for PCs but now Mac users can get in on the organization too.
