Comebacks we'd like to see: #23 -- OMG! No need for vowels in textglish

Ive 2 ADmre a gNR8N dat hs lrnD 2 liv w/o vowels. Textglish is so much more efficient, allowing the young to increase the speed of their communications while keeping anyone over 30 from understanding them. Thumbspeak messages can be composed one-handed under the desk away from the teacher's eyes. Messages can be keyed while driving 70 mph, or blindfolded, or both.
Also benefiting from the new language are stockholders of cell phone companies, who are making fortunes from text-addicts who send "Wassup" to their friends every hour on the hour. Nonetheless, I have a soft spot in my heart for vowels, probably because I labored so long to learn them. Or perhaps because I still hope to collect on my ex-friend's IOU.

I have a list of the top one hundred most stupid things americans have ever come up with,the pet rock topping the charts and second in line is a stupid thing called ,texting. a cell phone was created for talking,back when only the rich people could afford a 59.99 monthly service and then .59 cents per minute,and a cell phone cost 1500.00 things were good for all. now we have 5 year olds going crazy over stupid cell phones.my first cell phone was in 1985 and it was a very important tool for my business,today i keep my cell in the car hidden away as i am ashamed of what have evolved from smart innovations to total stupidity

Please bring back the glass bottles of Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Pepsi. I miss that most of all. Soda tasted so much better in Glass. I miss the Old Oreo Cookies back in the 50's, but, they just had to go and " NEW and IMPROVE' Them.

AND, umm how about the old favorites like
honesty, kindness, hard working people that truly earned what they received in salary, and how about honesty in Washington D.C.? How about someone worthy to be called President of the United States...??? We haven't seen anyone like that in decades!!! nor will we if we stay on the same old same old! How abut an independent party? I love to see old fashioned modesty, chivalry and virtue restored! ( I know the current generation has NO idea what that would entail).
How about we restore -- INTEGRITY -- you know... the kind where we could honestly believe and trust one another.
