Make your razors last longer! $19.99
I know: infomericals/fast-talking "AS SEEN ON TV" commercials are often a lousy place to buy stuff -- especially if it's a seminar about how to buy $300 million worth of real estate starting with nothing but a piece of celery. But sometimes the products are quite impressive: most companies won't invest in TV advertising -- the most expensive form of marketing -- unless they think the product has a lot of potential. Last night I saw an ad for the Save-A-Blade, which purports to save you tons of money by allowing you to sharpen your razors instead of throwing them out -- "it's like getting 40 shaves out of 1 razor!" It works on all razors, including disposables.
For $19.99 (plus an inflated $7.95 for shipping) this little device seems worth a try. I've just ordered one and will report back to you in short order.
