TKARE- Good Luck living off of what the government gives to individuals on welfare! No thank you! ROFL! I enjoy living in my own home, driving my car, and being able to shop for grocercies at any time during the month and purchasing any kind of food I desire, having extra money to put into savings, taking vacations.....whatever my heart desires.

CASH! Piles of cold hard cash is the best way to weather the current economic situation. I discovered one of the best books you'll ever find about finance, "How to Become Filthy Rich on Your Current Income" at www.how-to-become-rich.com. If people read books like this one we wouldnât have the current situation we do.

We must start to adjust to live on our means and forget about getting loan.We are in this situation because we are used in getting loan and forget saving a little bit of our income which we can use in case of emergency.Everybody just say "Goodbye" to loans especially with high interest.

One of the things that amazes me these days is this passion to get everyone into college and I ask for what? When I was a young man in the 60's and 70's if you went to college, you had a pretty good chance of getting a decent, better paying job because there was an economy. We had places for chemical engineers, scientists and engineers in NASA, Business Ad grads, in management programs in factories, etc. Those are gone overseas so what can you look to after your college education? I have a small restaurant business and almost daily I have folks comong in for menial jobs with BA's , Masters, and PHD's. So much for colege tuitions and college loans; there are no jobs.

I LOVE THE EDUCATION THEME . GO TO SCHOOL GET AN EDUCATION GET IN DEBT. THE FACTORIES ARE GOING GOING GONE TO CHINA . PEOPLE CAN'T RETIRE SO THE JOB OPENINGS WON'T BE THERE . THE DEGREE WON'T BE WORTH MUCH . YOU'LL BE IN DEBT FOR $ 300 - $ 600 A MONTH AND THE JOBS LEFT WILL PAY $8.50 - $ 12.00 HR . OH YEAH I DON'T THINK YOU CAN BANKRUPT ON THEESE LOANS . AND FORGET CREDIT IN THAT PAY SCALE .SO IT'S NOT JUST THE REAL ESTATE . WE NEED BIG TIME CHANGE EVERYWHERE.

Suntrust froze my home equity line of credit back in July, and I just found out about it three days ago. I tried to cash a check and found out I had no funds available. I actually had 24,000 dollars in my account so I thought. Called Suntrust and they told me that because my home value had fallen, they had frozen my account. They claimed to have sent a notification letter on July 17, a day after they froze the account. Very unfair, NEVER TRUST A BANK!!!!!!

I Love Everyones comments !!!!! Only in America - God Bless YOUMY TURN NOW !Let Wall Street Fall and have the wealthy feel what good low and middle class have felt by signing contracts with fine line exclusions and agreements inwhich that is why the executives made millions and bonuses screwing good honest americans. This is what you get and shame on our government for letting this happen - NOT WORKING FOR THE WORKING CLASS !!! Now the resolution.Form 2 Wall Streets - One for foreign investment, One for ONLY IN AMERICA investment. Our jobs need to come back home and americans begin to not mow / manicure the yard. Learn to garden, make candles, raise animals for food, barter with your friends, only purchase what you really need - material things are a joke. I can go on but what the heck.

I'm no rocket scientest but we need to get credit under control, way to much of it is the cause of this mess, get back to savings first. To get through this you need to be debt free so I think the lesson will be hammerd home.

Before we put any money into wall street firms , their ceos need to apoligize to the American people for years of rape and pillage of the financial markets, but before they step down they need to present themselves on the white house lawn, put their heads between their legs and kiss their own arse................... Thank you ...............William Wallace.
